Acto de Contrición
The essential prayer of repentance and sorrow for sin, recited during the Sacrament of Reconciliation and at Night Prayer.
Panginoon kong Hesukristo, Diyos na totoo at tao namang totoo, gumawa at sumakop sa akin;
pinagsisisihan kong labis sa buong puso ko ang lahat ng pagkakasala ko sa Iyo, sapagkat Ikaw ay lubhang mabuti at dapat ibigin nang higit sa lahat ng bagay.
Nagtitika akong matibay na hindi na muling magkakasala, magpapakumpisal, at tutupad ng penitensyang iuutos sa akin sa tulong ng Iyong mahal na grasya. Amen.
O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins because of Thy just punishments,
but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, who art all good and deserving of all my love.
I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace, to sin no more and to avoid the near occasions of sin. Amen.
Deus meus, ex toto corde paénitet me ómnium meórum peccatórum, eáque detéstor, quia peccándo, non solum poenas a te iuste statútas proméritus sum, sed praesértim quia offéndi te, summum bonum, ac dignum qui super ómnia diligáris.
Ídeo fírmiter propóno, adiuvánte grátia tua, de cétero me non peccatúrum peccandíque occasiónes próximas fugitúrum. Amen.
Señor mío Jesucristo, Dios y Hombre verdadero, Creador, Padre y Redentor mío; por ser Vos quien sois, bondad infinita, y porque os amo sobre todas las cosas, me pesa de todo corazón haberos ofendido.
También me pesa porque podéis castigarme con las penas del infierno.
Ayudado de vuestra divina gracia, propongo firmemente nunca más pecar, confesarme y cumplir la penitencia que me fuere impuesta. Amén.
